He was named as an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times. He has also been selected to be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. The total of his appearances is been a part of 10 NBA Finals. This is the third highest amount of time. Eight were consecutive between 2011-2018. James made his way onto the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, he became the very first NBA player to reach 10,000 career points. James was an athlete at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, located in Akron Ohio. He received lots of attention from media outlets for his future NBA success. James was picked by the Cleveland Cavaliers as the top player in the NBA draft in 2003.
