Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan) is the child of Wayne David Cardellini (a successful businessman). Her parents are Italian (from a paternal grandson), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda was born in San Francisco Bay and grew to be the youngest of four kids. At the age of ten, old, she became enthralled with acting after performing the role of a singer in her school's Christmas production. She also continued doing school plays and the community theater. Linda was a student at Saint Francis High School Mountain View California. When she finished her studies, Linda had to choose between moving into New York or Los Angeles and pursue a theater degree. Her acting career began in the year the year 2010 when she appeared in the British TV series Just William, in which she studied at London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Cinderella was her first big part after her role in the role of the character Lady Rose MacClare, in Downton Abbey's period drama (2012-2015). James went onto portray the Countess Natasha Rostova, in the TV version of War & Peace, in 2016 and starred several films.
